The Great Dames Giving Circle engages women-led nonprofits and social ventures and funds their remarkable work to create a better future for women and girls. The Competition draws women innovators from across the globe and works with them to increase their effectiveness through funding, mentoring, and forging a strategic partnership with Great Dames.
Application Deadline: June 1 at 12 p.m. ET
Virtual Pitch Event: July 23 at 5:30 p.m. ET
Winner Announcement: Oct. 15 at 5:30 p.m. ET (at our 15th Anniversary Global Celebration Event)

Winner of 2023 Great Dames Giving Circle Award Announced!
Body Empowerment Project Leaders
The Great Dames community is thrilled to announce the winner of our 2023 Giving Circle Pitch Competition. Body Empowerment Project, a nonprofit that empowers youth to find body acceptance and self-worth, was awarded our premier grant. The winning pitch offered a well-researched presentation of their efforts to help prevent eating disorders in adolescents, specifically in populations lacking access to treatment and preventive care. The award included a $5,000 grant, a business mentor, business services portfolio, and a strategic partnership with Great Dames.
Two other nonprofits, The Wardrobe and Unite for Her, were given finalist awards that included a business mentor, services, and a seed grant.

We invite nonprofits to share their remarkable work to empower women and girls to thrive. The winning nonprofit organization will receive a package, including $5,000 in cash, a business mentor, a strategic partnership with Great Dames, and a portfolio of valuable business services (planning and marketing services). Judges will select top finalists among the pitch videos submitted. The Great Dames Giving Circle members will select the WINNER!
Virtual Pitch Event: August 15 at 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. ET
Deadline to Vote for Winner:* August 22 at 12:00 noon ET
Celebration Event (Winner Announcement): Sept. 28 at 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. ET
*Note: All Great Dames Giving Circle members will receive a link to vote for the nonprofit from among the three finalists to be awarded the winner package ($5,000 grant and portfolio of business services) after the August 15 pitch event.
